Citizenme App Review: Earn Quick Cash with Mini Surveys

I’ve been on the lookout for ways to make money using my phone, and I’ve recently had some luck with apps like OnePulse and Spare5. Now, I’ve discovered a new app called Citizenme that pays you instantly for completing short surveys on your phone.

Citizenme operates on the idea that you should be rewarded for sharing your data. Every day, we share a lot of personal information on platforms like Facebook and Twitter, which those companies then sell to advertisers. Citizenme aims to let us sell our data directly to businesses who want it.

When you log into Citizenme, you’ll find different types of tasks, each color-coded. Green indicates paid tasks, dark blue is for ‘insights,’ and light blue is for ‘fun’ (unpaid) surveys. The ‘insights’ tasks are short surveys that analyze your data and provide feedback. For example, one survey helped me check if I was overpaying for my electricity bill (I wasn’t!).

Another nice feature is the charity surveys. While these are unpaid, your answers are donated to charities for their research purposes. Like OnePulse, all the surveys are multiple choice and consist of around three questions, making them quick and easy to complete.

Although paid surveys are not always available, the app will notify you as soon as one is, so you don’t have to keep checking. Plus, all your data and survey answers are completely anonymous.

I downloaded the app a few days ago and received a £1 survey on my first day and a 15p survey on my second day. These surveys are super short and take just seconds to complete. Unlike bigger survey sites, there’s no risk of getting screened out.

One great thing about Citizenme is that payments are sent to your PayPal account instantly after you finish a paid survey. There’s no need to request a payout or wait until you reach a minimum amount. As soon as I completed my first paid survey, I logged into PayPal, and my first pound was already there! It’s fun to see instant rewards like that.

While you won’t get rich doing these surveys, using several similar apps can add up, giving you some extra cash each month with minimal effort.

I rate Citizenme 4/5. It’s fun to make money with little effort, and the app is well-designed and easy to use. I also appreciate the charity surveys. Download it—you’ve got nothing to lose!
