If you join just one survey site, make it Prolific. It’s my favorite because you never get screened out, which is a common frustration with other sites. Prolific tells you upfront how much a survey pays, how long it will take, and the estimated hourly rate. Most surveys pay at least £5 per hour, with some going up to £6 or £7. You can cash out from just £5 to PayPal or Circle, though a small fee applies. For no fees, wait until you have £20 and cash out via Circle. Surveys can come and go quickly, so keep Prolific open in a separate tab to get instant notifications.
**Pinecone Research**
Pinecone Research pays well, with each survey earning you £3. The transparency is great, and you can cash out after just one survey. It’s a bit harder to join since you usually need an invitation, but I have a sign-up link for UK readers. They are looking for specific profiles, so if you fit, they’ll email you suitable surveys. Points have different values depending on how you claim your earnings.
**PopulusLive**
PopulusLive pays well, offering £1 for every 5 minutes of survey time, which equates to £12 per hour. However, you can often get screened out halfway through, and there aren’t always many surveys available. The payment threshold is high at £50, but once you reach it, they’ll send you a cheque.
